Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Sherpur Tarafdar Mahmudur Rahman held a view exchange meeting with different officers, politicians, representatives of civil society, leader of Nakla Press Club and local journalists of different media.
The meeting was held in the upazila parishad auditorium in Nakla upazila of Sherpur district. The program was organized by the Upazila Administration on Tuesday noon.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Dip Jahn Mitra presided over the program, when Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Sherpur Tarafdar Mahmudur Rahman spoke as chief guest.
Assistant Commissioner (Land) Jowel Mia, Army Captain Shakib Hasan, Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Habibur Rahman, Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturist Shahriar Morsalin Mehdi, Head of Department of History of Govt. Haji Zalmamud College Professor Dewan Gholam Masum, Head teacher of Pilot High School Omar Faruq, Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Golam Sarwar, Upazila BNP Secretary FF Mahmudul Haque Dulal, Baneshwardi Union Parishad Chairman Mazaharul Anowar Mohabbat, Municipal BNP Convener Kamrul Alam Khan Liton, Upazila Joba Dal Convener Shafiul Alam Palas and Joint Convener Moraduzzaman Masum and others were spoke.
After the meeting, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Tarafdar Mahmudur Rahman inaugurated the tree plantation program by planting a sapling in the Upazila Parishad premises.
The officials and employees of different departments working in the upazila, public representatives of different levels, political leaders of different levels and the leaders of Nakla Press Club and journalists of different media were present.
