The 53rd National Cooperative Day-2024 was observed across Nakla Upzila as elsewhere in the country in Nakla of Sherpur on Saturday.
On the occasion a rally and discussion meeting was held with the theme of ‘Cooperatively build the country, Bangladesh without discrimination”. The program jointly organized by the Nakla Upazila Administration and the Upazila Cooperative Office. After the rally a discussion meeting was held in the upazila parishad auditorium of Nakla.
Assistant Commissioner (Land) Jewel Mia presided over the program, when Dip John Mitra Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Nakla as the chief guest and Nakla Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Habibur Rahman spoke as the special guest. Mohammad Nousheduzzaman gave a welcome speech and many others spoke on the meeting.
Among others, the officials and employees of different departments working in the upazila, the leaders of the Nakla Press Club, journalists of different media, cooperatives coming from different areas of the upazila and many others were present.
